It was another year of celebration for Division 3 men's soccer in New England, as the national title returned to our region for the sixth time in the last seven NCAA Tournaments.
Connecticut College did the honors this go-around, snapping Tufts' bid for a three-peat in the process. And Amherst made its second straight national title game, losing in penalty kicks as the Camels made some history.
In that mold, the NESCAC dominates our year-end Best XI. The nation's top D3 men's soccer conference gets the label for a reason, after all.
