The youth movement is in full effect for the New England Revolution, and the results have been mighty impressive.
That much was abundantly clear last weekend, when the Revolution’s first team took the field Saturday night for an MLS match at D.C. United, and it was on display again on Sunday when the Revolution II opened the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro season at Atlanta United 2.
Not only did teenagers make a major impact for the Revs’ sides in those contests, they happened to be teenagers from New England, players who climbed the ranks with the franchise beginning in the Revolution Academy.
