At 14-5-1, Boston College just recorded its best season since 2010. But when the Eagles resume play in 2019, they'll have a new coach patrolling the sidelines.
Alison Foley, BC head coach for 22 years, has resigned from the Atlantic Coastal Conference program, the school announced on Monday.
In 2018, Foley brought the Eagles to the NCAA tournament for the 15th time, though they fell in the first round to Hofstra. After opening the season 10-0, BC lost four of five matches to close out the season, including in the conference quarterfinals to Clemson.
