WINDSOR, Conn. – In greater numbers with each passing year, college coaches continue to come out to the Northeast Soccer Jamboree. The event, held this past weekend on five grass fields at Loomis Chaffee, brought in around 150 coaches from across the Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3 ranks.
For each, the goal was to unearth some up-and-coming players who could positively impact their program. But who exactly were some of those hopefuls from the 26 NEPSAC teams in attendance?
To answer that, we’ve named standouts from each position group – goalkeeper (5), defender (10), midfielder (10) and forward (10) – who garnered some buzz. Our in-depth look at who caught our eye has players sorted in alphabetical order.
The vast majority of these players are still uncommitted, as senior/PG fall is still relatively early in boys recruiting. Don’t expect them to remain uncommitted for too long, though.
