The 2018 calendar year and its jam-packed soccer season is in the books.
To recount it all, New England Soccer Journal has highlighted 10 of the biggest storylines throughout the region. From twists and turns in the professional game to strides forward on the college, prep and club circuits, there was no shortage of head-turning moments.
Without offering any spoilers, the 2018 season in New England produced national awards, national titles and clubs coming and going. There were smaller-profile storylines, but the ones highlighted below will go down in the collective memory.
