New England Revolution midfielder Wilfried Zahibo was hoping to continue providing English lessons for his 5-year-old son, Taes, this year.
But Zahibo’s family has become separated due to the COVID-19 virus, and Taes remains with relatives in Guadeloupe while Zahibo awaits the resumption of Revolution team workouts.
Yesterday, Major League Soccer also extended its training moratorium through April 24. It’s been nearly a month since New England played its home opener at Gillette Stadium, a 1-1 draw against the Chicago Fire.
