One of New England's top college soccer players has a new home.
Simon Becher (Brooklyn, Conn.) has transferred from Holy Cross to Saint Louis University, where next fall he'll join a program in its second year under head coach Kevin Kalish.
Becher, a former standout striker for Oakwood SC in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, also has experience with the U.S. U-20 national team. He entered the NCAA transfer portal after the 2018 season, pursuing options elsewhere for the remainder of his collegiate career.
"At Holy Cross, I had a great experience with the team and coaching staff," Becher said via text message.
