It’s remarkable that FC Stars sent five girls’ teams to the ECNL Champions League in Seattle in June, but it might be even more remarkable that three of those five teams had a Gregorski sister on the roster and playing in the midfield.
Brenna Gregorski was on the FC Stars Blue U-16 team that made it all the way to the national semifinals in Virginia, and her younger sister Teagan was on the FC Stars U-13 squad that also reached the semifinals. Emma Gregorski’s FC Stars U-17 team went undefeated (1-0-2) in pool play in Seattle, but didn’t have enough points to advance.
"The energy that comes with playing at the ECNL Championships and Playoffs is like nothing I’ve ever experienced,” Brenna said. “I loved the feeling that every time I stepped on the field it was a must-win game. It gave me a thrill.”
