Prior to February, Joe Brito (Bolton, Conn.) had never been to Omaha, Neb.
Three months later, he’s enjoying that area of the country very much.
The 5-foot-10 Brito, who graduated from UNC Charlotte last December after the 2021 college season, signed his first professional contract back in early March and is now playing for Union Omaha, the defending champion in USL League One.
Union Omaha is 1-1-2 thus far in the 2022 season and Brito has appeared in all four matches as a wide midfielder.
