There will be a new face on the Harvard men's soccer sidelines in 2020, as multiple sources have confirmed to New England Soccer Journal that Pieter Lehrer is out as head coach of the Ivy League program. The school confirmed the news late Monday.
The Crimson are coming off a 0-14-1 season, and have finished bottom of their conference standings four years in a row. It was Harvard's first-ever winless campaign, as they finished with one loss four out of five seasons from 1905-09.
All told, Lehrer's tenure ended with a 42-58-13 overall record spanning seven seasons.
