The professional future of two former NEPSAC standouts is starting to materialize.
Prosper Figbe, a two-year standout at Loomis Chaffee, impressed in a recent workout with the New York Red Bulls. Figbe performed on the right in a three-man back line at the University of Virginia, but is considered best-suited as a center back.
Scouts believe Figbe is among the best defensive prospects at this week's MLS Combine, partly because of his exceptional athleticism. Should the Nigerian impress, he'd help his chances at the SuperDraft, held Jan. 11 in Chicago, Ill.
