Jesus Maria Satrustegui had quite the career in the 1970s and ’80s.
On the international stage, he represented Spain in the 1980 Euros and the 1982 FIFA World Cup. On the club level, he holds the all-time goals record for Real Sociedad.
The striker, 65, also happens to be the father of who surely is the best Division 2 player in New England this fall: Southern New Hampshire graduate student Alex Satrustegui.
“My dad was a legend, and he always gives me advice since he was a forward as well,” the younger Satrustegui said.
