While the COVID-19 pandemic limited their senior year, the Class of 2021 in Rhode Island will go down as a strong one.
To highlight a few, Exeter-West Greenwich midfielder/forward Cian Purcell is committed to URI, Tolman goalkeeper Nelton Semedo is committed to Merrimack and La Salle midfielder/forward Nathan Lagoa is committed to Providence College.
But who’s next? That’s the question we kicked around when taking an early look at the 2021 high school season in Rhode Island, where normalcy hopefully returns.
We've identified 10 players from the Ocean State who should lead the RIIL landscape in 2021. Aside from these go-to's, we've pinpointed some of their teammates who are also in key roles.
