With just days to go before the New England Revolution open the 2022 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League campaign on Tuesday against Cavaly AS at Gillette Stadium, the Revs announced updates to the club’s technical staff.
Sporting director and head coach Bruce Arena recently signed a multi-year contract extension, ahead of his fourth season in New England. Meanwhile, there were also promotions for former Revolution greats Shalrie Joseph and Chris Tierney to new roles with the club.
Joseph assumes the role of assistant coach and Tierney is the club’s new director of soccer operations. Both will report to Arena.
