Few players, if any, have been as synonymous with the New England Revolution as goalkeeper Brad Knighton.
The 16-year veteran keeper, who spent a franchise-record 12 seasons with the Revs, announced his retirement from professional soccer on Wednesday.
However, the 37-year-old Knighton will be starting a new role with the Revolution.
He’ll remain with New England as he begins his coaching career as the Revolution Academy’s Under-17 head coach.
