Sometimes things just fit right. A new cleat, a new glove, anything.
For Maddy Nylen (Scituate, Mass.), a Class of 2025 midfielder for Dexter Southfield and South Shore Select, Georgetown University feels like the perfect fit.
She chose the Hoyas as her collegiate destination in March and is beaming about her future in Washington, DC.
"Georgetown has been one of my top schools for as long as I can remember," Nylen said. "I think something that was super appealing for me with Georgetown is their combination of super high-level soccer and academics. They're one of the top programs in the country, soccer-wise. They've won the Big East, I think, four times. Their level of play is just so inspiring. I want to play at their level."
