Last year, Owen Ennis (North Kingstown, R.I.) attended the Army vs. Navy men’s soccer game at Subaru Park, which is home to the MLS’ Philadelphia Union.
"I really liked the atmosphere," said Ennis. "I liked the venue, it was pretty cool to see them playing in the Philadelphia Union’s stadium. Army lost the game, but the pace was pretty good and it felt almost like a pro atmosphere."
Even before experiencing one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, Ennis had a strong inclination that West Point would be the right college landing spot for him.
Recently, the Bayside FC Class of 2023 left back committed to Army West Point for next year.
