Riley Grable (Weymouth, Mass.) was always going to prioritize academics during her college soccer recruiting process, knowing that those four years carry significance far beyond playing games.
So when an offer from Holy Cross presented itself, the Scorpions ECNL Class of 2022 standout pounced on the chance to join the Patriot League program, verbally committing in early December.
Grable, an attacking midfielder/forward, also repeatedly left her conversations with Crusaders’ first-year head coach Kyle Bak feeling excited about her potential role.
