Some Division I recruiting normalcy is around the corner, as the NCAA’s D-I Council has approved a return to regular recruiting calendars beginning June 1.
To translate: The D-I recruiting dead period will go away come late spring and early summer, returning in-person activities as coaches search domestic and international shores for future talent.
D-I programs have been restrained by the recruiting dead period since it was implemented March 13, 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic’s early days. It's been extended numerous times, with the latest pushback lasting until May 31.
