The University of Michigan continues to turn to prep school soccer when recruiting, as the Big Ten program has secured a verbal commitment from one of the region's top Class of 2021 attackers.
Hotchkiss junior forward Michael Leon pledged to the Wolverines earlier this week, furthering a recent trend of Bearcat standouts heading to Ann Arbor, Mich.
Michigan currently rosters sophomore defender C.Y. Cheng and junior forward Umar Farouk Osman, the 2017 Gatorade National Player of the Year, as Hotchkiss alumni. Before their careers, FC Dallas forward Francis Atuahene played at Michigan from 2015-17, and then earned a Generation adidas deal in MLS.
