In the men’s soccer locker room at Eastern Nazarene College, multiple flags are displayed, acknowledging the seven nationalities represented on the team.
There’s a Spanish flag. A Brazilian flag. Plus others from England, Costa Rica, Nepal, Colombia and the United States.
“It’s a thing of strength, not division,” said coach Mark Bell (Hanover, Mass.), “and it only got better as it went along.”
