Connecticut FC ECNL and Wilton (Conn.) High School goalkeeper Erynn Floyd is the region’s latest player going to a power-five school, with the Class of 2022 standout verbally committing to Louisville earlier this week.
When Floyd’s recruiting process began, she originally focused on the New England area because it was drivable and easier to visit.
But she slowly expanded her search, ultimately settling on a Kentucky-based ACC program after encouraging discussions with longtime head coach Karen Ferguson-Dayes and her staff.
