UConn men’s soccer tends to tilt its recruiting efforts toward international players and those from academy clubs, though the Big East program also makes a concerted effort to land up-and-comers from Connecticut.
You can lump Class of 2021 forward Scott Testori (Madison, Conn.) into that latter group, as the Daniel Hand High School and CT Rush standout verbally committed to the Huskies late last week.
Testori, a No. 9, has earned All-American and CJSA High School Player of the Year honors while helping the Tigers win four straight Class L state championships (2016-19).
