It’s not often that one public high school soccer program produces five Division 1 college commits and one Division 2 commit in the same graduating class.
But that’s precisely what the Glastonbury (Conn.) High School girls soccer program produced in the Class of 2023. In fact, the team also has a Division 1 commit in the Class of 2024 as well.
With that impressive talent, GHS, under head coach Mark Landers, advanced to the CIAC Class LL semifinals last fall, where they fell to eventual champ Staples, 3-0. Landers sees big potential for his players moving on to the next level.
"They’re all great kids who will be difference-makers," he said.
