Gatorade released its list of Girls Soccer Player of the Year award recipients for each state on Friday, and New England’s six winners includes players committed to Miami, UCLA and Providence.
The Gatorade State Player of the Year award was established in 1985 to recognize the nation’s most outstanding high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.
Gatorade will also recognize a girls soccer player as the National Player of the Year later this month.
