Up until Feb. 22, Connecticut FC midfielder Peyton McNamara (Norwalk, Conn.) had never played for Jamaica.
In fact, the Concacaf U-20 Women's Championship marked her first official camp with the Reggae Girlz, a team she’s eligible to represent through her mother’s family roots.
But now McNamara, a highly-regarded Class of 2020 commit to Ohio State, could push through to the senior squad in the coming years.
