COLONIE, N.Y. -- It was a jam-packed day of action on Saturday at the NXT LVL Invitational boys prep showcase at Afrim’s Sports Park, just outside of Albany.
On a beautiful late-September day, 11 games were played, as the festivities began at 1:30 p.m., and continued throughout the day across four different fields.
As it pertains to New England programs, perhaps the day’s most impressive victory belonged to Choate, which was a 1-0 winner over Lawrenceville Academy (New Jersey), and dominated possession.
"We got off to a really good start, which was great," said Choate head coach Charlie Fuentes. "It was a good game for us. I think coming to a thing like this and coming away with a result is important."
