Across New England, boys prep soccer teams are opening up their 2022 campaign this week.
In fact, the action will even spread beyond the region on Sunday. New England-based squads Berkshire, South Kent, High Mowing, Williston Northampton, Putnam Science and Woodstock Academy will travel to Downington, Pa., to play matches in the annual Mainline High School Jamboree.
Last Sunday, Northfield Mount Hermon hosted a jamboree that included NMH, Milton Academy, Phillips Exeter, Brooks, Kimball Union Academy, Hoosac, Berkshire, Woodstock and Williston Northampton. According to those in attendance, Milton, Berkshire and Williston Northampton showed particularly strong.
It figures to be another fall that illustrates the depth of talent that is perennially present in the New England prep soccer landscape.
