After two phenomenal seasons at the University of North Carolina, redshirt sophomore midfielder/forward Ally Sentnor (Hanson, Mass.) has decided to pursue a professional soccer career.
Sentnor announced her decision on social media over the weekend, as she registered for the 2024 NWSL Draft before registration officially closed at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday night.
"Thank you for making my dreams of competing in Carolina Blue come true. My team here has been truly incredible and rewarding! While this is a hard goodbye. I have decided it is time to follow my heart and pursue a professional soccer career," Sentnor posted on Instagram.
