The New England Revolution might have one of the lowest-valued rosters in Major League Soccer, but they continue to up the ante with non-roster related investments. For instance, less than two months ago, the Revs revealed plans for a $35 million training facility in Foxborough, Mass., for their first team and academy.
Now the club is planning to hire Sergio Neveleff as full-time scouting director, according to a team source.
Neveleff, brother of Revolution assistant coach Marcelo Neveleff, is based in Argentina and has contacts throughout South America. Remi Roy, listed as director of scouting and player personnel, will remain on New England's scouting staff.
