After a four-month hiatus, the New England Revolution are back.
The Revs opened Group C at the MLS is Back Tournament on Thursday night, securing a 1-0 win over the Montreal Impact behind a 56th-minute goal from Gustavo Bou.
It marked New England’s first win (1-1-1) of the 2020 season, and they easily could have bagged a few more goals with greater match sharpness. In the return of professional men’s soccer during the COVID-19 pandemic, some rust was expected.
