Wednesday is the busiest -- and some would say the best -- day of girls prep school soccer in New England.
Four NEPSAC tournaments -- in Class A, Class B, Class C and Class D -- begin with quarterfinal matches at the home of the higher-seeded teams.
That’s 16 games in all, with numerous storylines that will get polished and refined once the outcomes are determined. Semifinals will be played Saturday and the championship games are Sunday at the FC Stars Complex in Lancaster, Mass.
