This is an exciting time for New England prep soccer programs.
In the middle of last month, schools found out which players will be joining their squads for the upcoming season. Admissions decisions were released, financial aid packages got worked out and students made enrollment decisions.
Schools within the NEPSAC land players from the region and well beyond, which makes it different from a public high school, which builds its roster with players from that town or city, or a few towns at most. NEPSAC programs recruit players domestically and internationally, aiming to find talents that will fit both academically and athletically, and help the program compete in one of the most prestigious leagues in the country.
