The eight teams for the NEPSAC Class B girls soccer tournament have finally received their (correct) party invitations.
Defending champion Pingree was awarded the No. 1 seed after a stellar regular season. It will begin its quest for a repeat against the team it defeated in last year’s final, eighth-seeded Lawrence.
There are other intriguing quarterfinal dance partners. The field includes four teams from the Independent School League, though none are matched up head-to-head in the opening round.
