There are numerous fun and creative ways for teams to form chemistry, hone their skills and prepare for an upcoming season.
For three New England boys prep soccer programs, that preseason preparation included once-in-lifetime trips abroad that allowed them a unique opportunity to experience life, culture and soccer in a European country. In the midst of the sightseeing and soaking in the entire experience, there was also plenty of time for soccer.
Loomis Chaffee took a visit to Italy, Milton Academy visited Spain, and Taft got to see Portugal.
New England Soccer Journal reached out to the coaches of those three teams to learn more about what they got out of their respective trips, and the biggest highlights.
