Championship weekend is upon us in the NEPSAC boys playoffs.
After an eventful Wednesday of quarterfinal action, Classes A, B, C and D all whittled their brackets down for the semifinals on Saturday, followed by all four New England championship games on Sunday at Choate.
In the Class A semifinals, it will be No. 4 Loomis Chaffee at No. 1 Milton Academy (noon), and No. 7 Choate at No. 3 Taft (2 p.m.). In Class B, it will be No. 4 St. George’s at No. 1 Suffield Academy (2 p.m.), and No. 7 Mount Saint Charles at No. 6 Williston Northampton (1:30 p.m.). Class C will feature No. 4 Greens Farms Academy at No. 1 Vermont Academy (1:30 p.m.), and No. 3 St. Andrew’s at No. 2 Portsmouth Abbey (2 p.m.). Finally, Class D will have No. 4 Covenant Christian Academy at No. 1 Hyde School (1 p.m.), and No. 6 Darrow School at No. 2 Gann Academy (today, 11 a.m.).
