INDIO, Calif. -- The Class of 2026 forwards is the next list of standouts from MLS Next Fest.
These players caught my eye at the event for a variety of reasons. Some players powered in goals to propel their teams to victories, others were tremendous passers and a few showcased their elite athleticism in critical situations.
Forwards can change the trajectory of a match in the blink of an eye. New England Revolution striker Cristiano Carlos proved that case, scoring a remarkable goal by himself, which I'll break down below. However, other forwards can impact the match without scoring. Beachside of Connecticut's Lukas Syah and Seacoast United striker Tyzo Diallo provided playmaking to ignite offense up top.
