When it’s all said and done, the MIAA Division 1 girls’ soccer playoff bracket will be littered with matchups that could have taken place in the Final Four.
Like Saturday’s second-round game between No. 4 Bishop Feehan (14-2-3) and No. 13 Franklin (13-1-5), two talented teams that have been in our Top 10 rankings all year and feature elite stars.
The second-round matchups with No. 10 Newton North at No. 7 Hopkinton on Friday, and No. 15 Lincoln-Sudbury at No. 2 Wellesley on Saturday afternoon should also be thrillers. The winners of those two games will play each other in what will surely feel like a championship match, but will only be a quarterfinal.
