The playoffs are in sight.
We're officially into the stretch run of the MIAA Boys soccer season. The regular season will end in just about two weeks on Oct. 30 before the brackets come out on Nov. 1. Before we know it, the tournaments will be underway on Nov. 3.
There's a lot to unpack before we hit the final push of the regular season, including quite a shakeup in the latest rankings.
In the top five, Newton South takes over the top spot, continuing to pass every test they've faced thus far. Meanwhile, Lowell made a huge leap into the top five, while Hingham dropped out of the top five.
