High school soccer is upon us.
The MIAA season will kick off on Wednesday with a plethora of teams from Massachusetts facing off.
Concord-Carlisle is the reigning Division 1 champion after knocking off Needham, 2-0, in last season’s title tilt. It was Needham’s second straight season reaching the final. In Division 2, Oliver Ames took home a repeat title after beating Wakefield, 1-0, in overtime.
The Hockomock League is well-represented entering the season with three teams ranked. The same can be said of the Catholic Conference, which also has multiple teams in the initial top 10.
