Gatorade released its list of Boys Soccer Player of the Year award recipients for each state on Friday.
New England’s six winners include a repeat winner, a Wake Forest commit, and a player headed to the University of Vermont.
The Gatorade State Player of the Year award was established in 1985 to recognize the nation’s most outstanding high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.
Gatorade will also recognize a boys soccer player as the National Player of the Year later this month.
