The MASCAC cancelled its 2020 season Thursday, becoming New England’s third Division III conference to bow out when faced with lengthy challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The decision was expected, Framingham State men’s head coach Dean Nichols said, after the NESCAC cancelled last Friday and then the NECC cancelled yesterday.
The numbers are adding up, with seven NEWMACs, six GNACs, two from the Little East Conference and Brandeis all cancelling as well. All the latest updates can be found here.
