The local presence at Real Salt Lake’s academy is increasing, with Class of 2023 center back London Timothy (Newbury, Mass.) joining their U-17 team in late January.
Timothy, 15, has been competing with Seacoast United’s MLS NEXT program and previously spent a few years at the New England Revolution Academy.
The region’s other player at RSL is Pearse O’Brien (West Hartford, Conn.), an Ireland youth national team midfielder who developed at Oakwood.
