The University of Connecticut already has several top local Class of 2020 players arriving for next fall’s transition to the Big East, with NEFC standout Lucy Cappadona (Marlboro, Mass.) and Connecticut FC defender Chloe Landers (Glastonbury, Conn.) leading the way.
Another will soon join them, as FC Stars and Tabor Academy forward Jaydah Bedoya (New Bedford, Mass.) has accelerated her commitment to join the Huskies a year earlier than originally planned.
Currently a junior at Tabor, Bedoya will forgo returning for the 2020-21 school year and taking what would be, essentially, empty course credits.
