Prominent Black voices throughout New England soccer continue to speak out on issues of racial inequality, both through the game's lens and society at large.
The latest is Boston College head coach Jason Lowe, who arrived at the ACC program in January 2019 after spending a half-dozen years at Wake Forest. A goalkeeper during his playing days, Lowe was previously an assistant coach at both Alabama and Emory.
That path, ranging from his Ohio roots to Division I coaching, gives Lowe perspective on the global protests that have followed George Floyd's murder.
