Jack Harrison, the former Berkshire School standout who left his mark on New England prep soccer before a college and pro career beckoned, is the toast of the English Premier League this morning.
The Leeds United winger, who’d never before scored multiple goals in a Premier League game, recorded a hat trick on Sunday to lead his team to a 3-2 win at West Ham in London and move up in the league table,
It’s one of just six three-goal performances in the Premier League this season, linking the 24-year-old Harrison’s name with greats like Mohamed Salah of Liverpool, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United and Mason Mount of Chelsea.
It’s also just the second time in 17 years a Leeds player has scored three goals in a Premier League game.
