MAAC women’s soccer returned on Tuesday afternoon, and Quinnipiac announced itself with a roar.
The Bobcats (1-0) opened with a 3-1 home victory over Marist, sparked by a two-assist showing from freshman forward Rebecca Cooke in her collegiate debut.
Cooke has featured for Ireland’s U-19 national team and knew head coach Dave Clarke, a fellow Ireland native, before her arrival at Quinnipiac.
