For the Woodstock Academy prep boys soccer team, the numbers speak for themselves.
With a remarkable 29-1-3 record over the past two seasons, and back-to-back Prep Premier League championships and No. 1 national rankings, Woodstock has been at the top of the nation's prep soccer landscape.
Now, the Connecticut-based program that plays together year-round will look to stay atop the mountain this fall.
"We had a strong year last year, not only in the prep school, but we didn’t lose a game in the winter or the spring either," said Woodstock head coach Owen Finberg, now in his third year with the program. "We’ve got a target on our backs, certainly when it comes to the prep schools.
