The 2020 season won’t include a Division I South run for Hingham (Mass.) girls soccer, though the Harborwomen have still hit the ground running under new head coach Sarah Dacey.
They’re 3-0-1 thus far, with their only tie coming against fellow Patriot League powerhouse Whitman-Hanson (Mass.). Even without U.S. U-17 national team defender Lilly Reale, a UCLA Class of 2021 verbal commit, they’re still thriving.
Dacey attributes Hingham’s success to talent and commitment, especially after the new Girls Academy League allows players to return to the high school ranks.
