Hartford Athletic played its 2021 USL Championship season home opener on Saturday evening, battling Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC to a 1-1 draw.
The match had plenty of drama, including a late red card and stoppage-time equalizer, though there was a sense of disappointment among the players and coaches postgame.
They’re still undefeated through three games (2W-0L-1D, seven points), but aren’t satisfied with only picking up a point at Dillon Stadium.
